Responsibilities:
Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is looking for individuals who are fluent in more than one language to help us translate documents for volunteers who do not have English as their first language. This position will allow you to work from home while helping our volunteers and our current/future homeowners.
Required:
Fluent in English and at least one other language (Ideally, Vietnamese, Burmese, and Somali)
- Currently, we have volunteers to translate to Spanish, Italian, French, and Brazilian Portuguese. We are looking to expand to other languages than those listed above.
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Passion for Habitat for Humanity’s mission
