Organizational Information: You will be assisting with setting up and cleaning up for Senior Meals. Students will be provided a free meal, but they must be ready at all times to help clear or cleanup.
Opportunity Description: Student volunteers will assist with Pullman Senior Center meals.
Days/Times: Transportation will be provided. Please meet at CUB L45 at 11 AM to meet with your group. We plan to return to campus around 2 PM.
Requirements: Service hours are allocated based on amount of direct service participation and do not include meeting time and transportation to/from the service site. Students should plan to receive 2.5 hours of service for this project. Please dress appropriately. All students are advised to bring a water bottle. Masks and social distancing are a requirement for participation.
COVID: Students using CCE transportation must wear a mask at all times while in the vehicles. The community partner may also require masks at their facilities OR proof of vaccination status.
Currently during the pandemic, we will be allowing students to drive themselves to CCE Led projects if they wish to maintain greater distancing. If students wish to drive themselves to the event, please email cce.projects@wsu.edu at least 24 hours before the event.
Because of the current COVID-19 pandemic and for the safety of all of our students and partners, CCE-Led projects may be cancelled up until the project time. If the project is cancelled, we will notify you as soon as we are able in a timely manner.
Cancellation Policy: Participants can unregister on GivePulse up to 24 hours before the scheduled project start time. Please let CCE staff know if you are unable to participate if it is within 24 hours of the project meeting time. The CCE has a strict No Show Policy. After 2 No Shows students will be unable to participate in CCE-led Projects for the rest of the semester
