About

The Crisis Center is looking for volunteers to help in our administrative department.  Shifts are M-F from 12-2 and every 4th Tuesday of the month from 1-3 pm.  Tasks include, but are not limited to, answering the door and greeting clients, answering the telephone, light clerical duties and other projects as requested, including assisting with sorting and putting away donations, and light housekeeping.  Ability to handle multiple things at once is beneficial, strong communication and people skills required.  Workload can vary so flexibility is important; ability to learn phone system required.  This position is at our confidential shelter location in northern Douglas County.

Requirement Details
Need to complete the following:
 Complete the volunteer application;
 Interview with the Volunteer Coordinator;
 Attend the general volunteer orientation (3 hours);
 Pay for your background checks;
 Pass background and reference check;
 Pass and complete CCADV and mandated reporter online training;
 Attend the direct service training;
 Attend volunteer education/support meetings;
 Pay for and pass TRAILS (child abuse database) check;
 Administrative specific training
