About
When a child is hospitalized, little else matters to a family. Being with their child, helping them get better, going home, that’s their mantra. The Ronald McDonald House at Parkview exists to provide families with the support, comfort, and convenience they need. A rested and well-fed parent is better able to care for their sick child. Patients feel more support when their parents are close. Families stay stronger when siblings can visit, share a meal, a board game or cuddle time with parents they are missing. For all those moments and more, the Ronald McDonald House at Parkview is a “home-away-from-home” for pediatric families. Ronald McDonald House volunteers keep our program running smoothly 365 days a year.
We ask that volunteers commit to two or four shifts per month for a minimum of six months.
