African Society is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of African culture on Washington and Lee's campus. Moreover, our organization is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for students and community members that are interested in and a part of the African diaspora. Our organization strives to support the voices and perspectives of African students on campus, promote awareness of and interest in African cultures, and serve as a catalyst for discussion and debate about African affairs.
